I am presenting a School Therapy Dog information workshop for all schools currently with support dogs, considering a support dog, or having any questions or concerns regarding support dogs. Due to recent events it may be that dogs in schools will have to be certified as therapy and/or Assistance Dogs.
I will give demonstrations with a dog of the exercises and the temperament required of an Assistance Dog and/or a School Support Dog. This is a workshop without your own dogs. It is about training handlers and giving the school community guidance to ensure the safety and success of having a dog in the workplace. Let’s set everyone up for success from the beginning!
